On 5/27/21, I had the pleasure of organizing and moderating a discussion to close out AAPI Heritage Month at the Ruby, an arts & letters focused community space for women and non-binary folks.

The talk was with Sasie Sealy, the director of the film Lucky Grandma, in conversation with Andria Lo and her collaborator Valerie Luu. Andria and Valerie are the duo behind Chinatown Pretty, a book about seniors' fashion in Chinatowns across the U.S. Lucky Grandma and Chinatown Pretty center Asian elders in surprising ways, and we talked to the artists about their experiences making the film and the book.
