I was super thrilled to contribute a film to The Redford Center’s #powerthevote project. A group of 10 filmmakers made short, impactful videos about what it looks like to be an environmental voter today.

Thao and her mom Nhan star in this short. Thao asks her mom for advice on her vegan pho recipe, and shows her the “Ballad to the Ballot” PSA she made urging Vietnamese Americans to vote. Thao also makes sure her mom has a plan to vote.
